OhioMeansJobs is a state-wide system of centers that offers individuals, employers and communities the opportunity to achieve and sustain economic prosperity. As part of this system, OhioMeansJobs Marion County is committed to workforce development initiatives and activities that are business driven and locally developed.

We work everyday to connect job seekers and employers. By bringing together business, government and the community into a collaborative unit, OhioMeansJobs Marion County is able to create a more skilled and better trained workforce. The collaboration results in more successful employers, increased tax revenues generated by new or better jobs for previously unemployed or underemployed individuals.
Employer Services
OhioMeansJobs Marion County Centers offer assistance with job postings, application collection, pre-screening of applicants, pre-employment testing, on and off site interview rooms, mass recruitment services, hiring fairs, information on training providers, rapid response services (lay-off services), customized and on-the-job training programs, and information about other community services. Our services provides employers an average of $1,000 cost avoidance per hire.
Job Seeker Services
OhioMeansJobs Marion County offers free one on one employment and career coaching and job leads help Marion County residents learn how to search for a job more efficiently. Hiring events and training also provide an opportunity for residents to connect directly with employers. We offer many supportive services such as transportation assistance to help guarantee that residents can get to their job and work toward financial stability. We also offer a state of the art Resource Room that includes 17 computers connected to the internet, resume maker software to assist in putting your resume together, copier, phone, fax, and many other resources. We can also conduct online pre-hire assessments, recruitment postings (online and in the Resource Room), online applications, just to mention a few of the business services.
We also assist dislocated workers (those who have been laid off due to a downsizing or closure) and individuals with barriers to employment. We are proud to offer priority service to U.S. Military Veterans and eligible spouses. Thank You for your Service!

OhioMeansJobs Marion County is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
